A court interpreter is a professional appointed by the competent County Court or the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, authorized to produce official translations of documents and spoken text. A certified translation implies a complete and accurate reproduction of the original document or spoken expression (e.g., diplomas, medical findings, extracts from court registers, certificates of conformity, as well as oral interpretation in courts or before public notaries), for which the court interpreter guarantees with their stamp and signature. For a foreign-language document to have legal validity, it must be translated and certified by an authorized court interpreter. ​

We send certified translations in PDF format via email, as it is legally prohibited to alter a certified translation. Electronic copies may not be used as a substitute for the original certified translation—the only legally valid copy must be picked up in person or delivered by mail.
